Is there any makeup obsessed girl out there who does not own anything by Urban Decay? With the recent launch of the brand in South Africa, it has further stoked my love for them and since I already wrote about them in this post, I thought it apt to finally do an update on my Naked eyeshadow palette collection.
Of course these products aren’t new, but the original Naked palette is new to my collection and compliments the Naked3 palette that I have owned since Christmas 2015 really nicely.
The Naked palette is presented in the most soft-to-the-touch chocolatey brown case with the words embossed in it in gold. Looking at the beautiful case, and then touching it you can’t help but to be drawn in and just wanting to open it.
The Naked3 Palette comes in a rose gold hard case and I remember from seeing it for the very first time that my little heart skipped a thousand beats for all its prettiness.
I’m pretty sure that these palettes must be the most pigmented of all my eye shadows. Just look at these beautiful colours.
I love that each palette comes with its own double-ended brush. Often the brushes that come with eyeshadows aren’t very good at all, but these work extremely well. I actually ended up having to wash them quickly before I took these photos as I’ve used them so many times and didn’t realise that they actually needed a cleanse.
Do you use Urban Decay? Would you like to see me create some looks creating these palettes? I probably will anyway, but let me know you thoughts.
Now I just need to get my hands on Naked2!
Purchase your Urban Day products here if you’re in South Africa and here if you’re in the UK.
I have all 3 Naked palettes and the Naked2 Basics palette. They are amazing.
