I’m starting off this week with my second post in my new Style the Bump series. Who would have thought that the second one would come along so quickly? I certainly didn’t. I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant but I took these images while I was 22 weeks along, on the same brunch day I had in this post with Carly from Youme_Naturally.
Admittedly, I was in two minds about using these photos for Style the Bump, mostly because I didn’t realise just quite how much my colours would have me resemble a country farm girl (not that I have anything against country farm girls). It just struck me once I was looking at them that I was really giving me off country girl vibes.
Anyhow, I still think the basic silhouette is one that I can work with and one that you might be able to as well (if you happen to be pregnant, of course): A lovely knitted and fitted dress but that has the ability to stretch, drawing attention to the bump by tying a shirt just above it, right underneath the boobies. I must say I rather love this look, never mind the country girl vibes.
knit dress: Zara, red shirt: Forever21, chelsea boots: TK Maxx, hat: bought some time ago on a market in Tokyo
