Well if you haven’t heard by now, Cape Town Natural Hair Fest 2017 is upon us and I couldn’t be any more excited. There are a few reasons for this. The first one is that I get to travel back to Cape Town where I’m from originally and to connect with all you gorgeous naturalistas at the biggest event of its kind in South Africa. Secondly, our 5-star Cape Town Naturally organising team will be reunited as we prepare to put the fest on for you. And lastly, but certainly not the least, this year we have brought on board an exciting sponsor, and it’s none other than one of my personal favourite hair care brands, Cantu Beauty.
That’s right everyone, 2017’s fest will be empowered by Cantu and I can’t tell you how elated I am about this. It’s one of the first brands I used back when I first returned my hair to its natural state a few years ago and I used it to slowly nurse my strands back to health. I’ll also have you know that this is one of the few brands I can use on wash day where I only have to refresh my hair again two to three days afterwards. With most other brands I have to refresh my curls the very next day already.
Now whether you have actually used Cantu before or not is completely irrelevant because they’ll be at the fest in full force demonstrating the products and educating us all on the best way to use them.
Here are a few Cantu facts that you may not be aware of:
- Cantu celebrates strong gorgeous women with their strong gorgeous hair because the secret behind every perfect style is nourished conditioned strands.
- Cantu products are suitable for both natural and relaxed hair so if you’re still transitioning or just thinking about returning natural, you can still use Cantu on your hair.
- You can find Cantu in selected Clicks and Dischem stores.
