Autumn has slowly crept up on us here in the UK and I thought it was time to update my wardrobe with a few stunning pieces from the ever popular & Other Stories. It was my first time shopping from them, but because I had been signed up to their newsletter, I was able to shop one of their weekend sales and managed to bag a few items that were greatly reduced!

AFFILIATE LINKS ARE USED THROUGHOUT THE POST – WHERE THE ORIGINAL ITEMS HAVE SOLD OUT, I’VE LINKED SIMILAR ONES.
Here are the items I picked up.
1. THE SHORT, PUFF-SLEEVED KNIT
As soon as I saw this beautiful embroidered knit I knew I had to have it. I immediately fell in love with the floral embroidered detail at the top and a knit like this is perfect on those early Autumnal days when it’s not too cold yet. I’ve paired mine here with a black pleated skirt and ankle boots, but of course you have the option of styling them with pumps, knee-high boots or even a pair of trainers if you’re after a more casual look.
2. THE ALPACA BLEND WRAP CARDIGAN
The second item I picked up is this stunning long-sleeved Alpaca blend wrap cardigan. It’s such a delicate knit and I love the V-neck, wrap style of it. It’s quite dainty, but it’s incredibly warm! I’ve styled mine over a slip dress with sandals, however when the weather turns colder I’ll switch the sandals out for boots and finish off the look with a blazer.
3. THE PINK WOOL JACKET
This pink cropped wool jacket is without a doubt my favourite item from this mini-haul. It has a boxy, slightly oversized fit which came as quite a surprise, but I’m absolutely loving it now. In this photo I’ve paired it with white jeans, but scroll down to below the photo and you’ll see how I styled it with a pair of black leather trousers over on Instagram. If you’re not already following me on Instagram, please make sure that you do, as that’s where I post daily outfit photos and videos.
4. THE BEIGE ANKLE BOOTS
I’m particularly excited about these boots as I’ve been looking for a pair of beige ankle boots for quite some time and finally found the perfect pair in these. They make for a really refreshing change from the standard black and tan.
I also love these because they have a low block heel that you’ll be able to walk in comfortably for a long time, the round toe is quite a nice change-up from the pointed toe and if you have wide calves like me, the stretchy part at the top will stand you in good stead. I’ve styled mine with a black skirt and top, and beige blazer and bag for a neutral look, but it looks equally amazing styled with jeans or a colourful skirt or dress.
These boots are so versatile and a must for Autumn/Winter.
5. THE FITTED KNITTED PENCIL MIDI-SKIRT
If there’s one item I’m convinced we all need in our wardrobes it’s a fitted pencil skirt, and because it’s Autumn/Winter, we’re making it a knitted one. This one is really thick and of a very good quality. I’ve styled mine in a neutral look again with a pair of black sandals, but this skirt will of course look amazing with ankle boots, knee-high boots, lace-up boots or trainers.
